FEBRUARY 21, 2007 — The Human Bean, a Medford, Ore.-based specialty coffee drive-thru franchise, is expanding nationwide with 28 stores now open and area development agreements for another 110 drive-thrus in the United States. The Human Bean’s franchise concept involves no royalty fees.

By Cahalan, Steve Bear Creek Coffee and Cafe opened Wednesday at 1022 La Crosse St., in part of the building that also houses Little Caesars Pizza. Don Brown of Homer, Minn., who owns both businesses, said Bear Creek’s grand opening will be Friday.
